*Due to an NDA, the details and images in this case study have been modified for confidentiality. However, the results are accurate and reflect my design process, skills, and approach.
Microsoft offers a wide variety of products, so choosing the right one for a client's needs can be challenging. To help sales reps identify the right package for clients, Microsoft wanted us to create a tool that offered more accurate recommendations based on the client's needs.

Research & Testing
To better understand the team's needs, we started by conducting several introductory calls and distributed surveys to gather more insights. Based on this information, we designed a user flow that aligned with the team's objectives and identified the necessary content. We then conducted user tests to ensure the design met expectations and refined it further through A/B testing to optimize performance and user experience.

Design & Development
To help make onboarding easier, I designed in-app content and tutorial videos in a collapsible help panel. The content in the help panel would adjust based on the step the user was completing. For first-time users, the help panel would automatically open to guide users through navigation and task completion. On the flip side, returning users could choose to open the help panel anytime they needed additional support.

Results
Within the first month of launching, 90% of the team reported that they used the tool for every new call. In addition, the team reported 100% satisfaction, claiming that the tool was easy to learn and use. Because of the success, the team planned to roll this out to teams company-wide over the following year.
